Harrison County (West Virginia) Sheriff's Office investigating fatal dirt bike accident | WV News | wvnews.com

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (WV News) — The Harrison County Sheriff's Office is actively investigating a fatal accident that involved a dirt bike and another vehicle.

The accident took place around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on Langtown Road in the Bridgeport area.

At this time, the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the family. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The scene was reconstructed by Chief Deputy Robert Waybright of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.

Upon arrival at the scene, the Bridgeport Fire Department, which was already on-site, advised the Harrison County 911 Center that the crash had resulted in one fatality.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office will provide updates as more information becomes available.
